ENThe published list of silver artefacts in possession of Kruonis Church in 1715 introduces various items of precious metals that were in possession of Kruonis Orthodox Church in the early 18th century. It was one of the churches that operated in the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania within borders of modern day Lithuania. The list of silver artefacts helps not only to know better the history of this house of prayer and the items of art it hosted, but also to understand which of the borrowed concepts from the Catholic Church of the early 18th century had already seeped into the Byzantine liturgy of Lithuanian Orthodox Church. The original of the published list is deposited in the Oginski foundation of the Lithuanian State Historical Archives (F. 1177). [From the publication]
