LTSukilėlių kovos Lietuvoje 1831 m. dažnai vaizduojamos kaip romantinė legenda, kurios istoriniai šaltiniai nepatvirtina. De facto sukilimas baigėsi, kai generolo Antano Gelgaudo vadovaujama reguliarioji kariuomenė pasuko į Rytų Prūsijos žemes. Prie Vyslos dar vyko mūšiai, tačiau sukilimas jau buvo pralaimėtas.

ENAlthough the battles of the insurgent army in Lithuania in 1831 have become more of a legend and a myth, historical records evidence the contrary. In fact, the November Uprising was suppressed there as most of the regular troops commanded by General Antanas Gelgaudas (Antoni Giełgud) were pushed to East Prussia. It happened on the 13th and 15th of July. Despite the battles which were still being fought by the Vistula, insurrectionists were quarantined for a long time and they never came back to the battlefield.
