ENAuthor of the study "Michał Kryspin Pawlikowski‘s Lithuanian journalistic writings and Czesław Miłosz‘s essays, or how (not) to write about the Polish-Lithuanian relations" confronts the fates of the title characters and their views on the Polish- Lithuanian relations. By analyzing their opinions, the author tries to reconstruct the convictions of both writers by assessing and clarifying the meaning of the noun "Lithuanian" and the adjective "Lithuanian" in their works. Summarizing his research, T. Sucharski notes that the figures and the views of these two artists personify the two basic trends in Polish political thought concerning views on Polish-Lithuanian relations during the interwar period.
