Vinco Mykolaičio-Putino meilės lyrika

LTPirmųjų kūrybos dešimtmečių Putino eilėraščiai meilės tema grupuojasi į savotiškus ciklus, kuriuos galima laikyti ir brandos etapais. ENPutinas’s love poems of the earliest decades of his creation may be grouped into particular cycles which may be considered maturity stages. The prime cycle is an earth cycle – love is contemplated here through the image of earth-mother-lover. The aesthetics of symbolism and Putinas’s wide generalising contemplation raise the parallelism of nature and human feelings that was formed in folk songs and preserved by Maironis to a new level: mother in the poems is not a weak lime-girlie, but Mother-Nature herself, Mother-Goddess. In Putinas’s love poetry the vision of mother (virgin)-star functions as if a peculiar alternative for the paradigm of Mother-Earth. It has connections with the cult of the Holy Virgin and neo-platonic idea of “eternal femininity” that was established in European poetry since the times of Goethe. Impressionist gracefulness and love confession are the main principles of love lyrics. They are perfectly felt and employed by Putinas. The lyrical “I” communicates with its love object indirectly, through memories and through an imaginary dialogue. Love lyrics is one of the central themes of Putinas’s poetry. Being quite rich in its aspects and forms of expression, it is related with the main issues of Putinas’s poetry; it renders their new treatment; highlights love as the essential element of human existence, its importance for the lyrical subject, the artist or the searcher of higher values, or for the world in general. Putinas’s love lyrics develops, gets experience from life, creative process and from the world literature; it also supplements the world literature and becomes a great contribution to the Lithuanian poetry.
