Kalvio įvaizdis lietuvių pasakose ir sakmėse

LTŠio darbo tikslas - išanalizuoti kalvio personažą lietuvių pasakose ir sakmėse. Daroma prielaida, kad kalvio įvaizdis gali būti susijęs su kalvio funkcijas turėjusiu senosios lietuvių religijos panteono dievu. Tyrimo metodas - istorinis tipologinis. Kalvio įvaizdis tebėra problemiškas, mokslininkai dėl jo tebesiginčija. Šiame darbe, išanalizavus pasakojamosios tautosakos kalvio veiksmus, daroma išvada, kad šis personažas sietinas tiek su velnija, tiek ir su dangiškąja sfera. Galbūt galima kalbėti ir apie dievo, susijusio su kalvyste, dvilypumą -jo sąsajas su chtoniškąja ir dangiškąja sferomis.

ENThe image of the blacksmith in Lithuanian fairy - tales and legends is under study in the article. It is supposed that such analysis can contribute much to the knowledge of the Blacksmith God which existed in the tradition of the ancient Lithuanian mythology and who was mentioned in the old written sources by the name of Teliavelis. It is no doubt that the folklore has retained a certain ecclestiastic dimension. Attempts are made to reconstruct the main (or some of them) features and functions of the image of the divine blacksmith and the sphere of his activity through the analysis of its image in the narrative folklore. The actions performed by the personage of the blacksmith are pointed out and they are grouped. The attention is paid to the double origin of the image of the blacksmith. His relations with the chthonic and heavenly spheres are shown.
