ENThe goal of this article is to investigate competitiveness of the Lithuanian touroperators of outbound tourism in the context of globalization. In the article were used these research methods: literature analysis, statistical data analysis. The development of tourism in the context of globalization changed the sector. In conjunction with the growth of the number of tourists worldwide was growing the demand for tourism products, offered by tour operators. In the European countries noticed a tendency, few tour operators are dominating the market of the organized tourism products, the same tendency was noticed in the Lithuanian outbound tourism market. With the change of preferences of the tourists Lithuanian tour operators are facing more challenges in terms of competitiveness.
