ENEvery country tries to satisfy consumers’ health care service needs. They have to determine the actual consumer’s health and health care service demands and needs. The research on consumer’s needs and satisfaction becomes more popular during recent years when the classic approach of economic regains the lost positions. In 1996 E. Mossialos did the research on how the consumers in the countries of the European Community are satisfied with system of health care. The research showed that it depends on the finance of the sector. Besides, the comparison of the research data with the numbers of specialists working in the health care system showed the contrary dependence. In order to compare the level of the health care consumer’s satisfaction between Lithuania'and countries of the European community the research on what do the Lithuanian citizens think of the present health care was made. According to the research and the analysis of the received data there are no significant differences as to the respondents sex and place of residence. However the research data show more favorable tendencies among the females and the city residents. The analysis shows also that the consumers of the different age groups view the Lithuanian Health Care differently. Most satisfied are the young up to 20 years of age consumers; consumers more than 65 years old have similar view on the health care. According to the comparison between the levels of health care consumer satisfaction in Lithuania ant the countries in the European Community one could maintain that Lithuanian Health Care consumers are not satisfied with the Lithuanian Health Care.
