Alternative Title:
Studentų įsidarbinimo galimybės studentų ir darbdavių požiūriu
Summary / Abstract:

ENNowadays there is a common belief that it is impossible for students to find a job related to their study field as all the employers tend to be looking for highly experienced workers. Therefore the main aim of the research is to reveal the situation. Two different perspectives were chosen - the students' and the employers' - when analysing the required skills for the candidates and the ones the student applicants for a job actually possess. As a target group of respondents, the students of Management and Economics Faculty of Kauno kolegija/UAS were chosen, as they mainly study managerial specialities and receive direct knowledge and training of how to establish and run a business. The article also explores the percentage and reasons of students working as well as the job givers' opinion and policy on recruiting staff.
