ENThe ultraviolet luminescence image of the painting revealed that during the earlier restorations the most of all was retouched the painting of cloak, cloak’s hood, breast and arm’s painting, which was not only retouched, but varnished for many times without taking off the silver dress. In the radiographic image is seen that the composition of the painting was not changed. The picture was painted on the very thin layer of priming. The different parts of painting were painted by the homogeneous paint layer, where it is impossible to separate different strokes of the brush. Background, face and arms paint layer is thinnest, the veil and dress - thicker and the cloak - the thickest, though there are the biggest losses of paint. The painting is repainted several times without changing the composition. The most of times are repainted arms of Madonna.
