Dabarties regioniškumo akivaizdoje: tarmė, dainos ir kita

ENThe article describes a certain priority importance of a dialect, songs and folklore in general for Lithuania regionalism. It is noted that today people are particularly interested in languages of a specific place, peculiarity of regional folklore, primarily showing the uniqueness of local culture in the general context of the country. It emphasizes the importance of having in view the systemic folk tradition and understanding what dialects and interdialects are. The article also gives a brief and generalized summary of aukštaičiai, dzūkai, suvalkiečiai and žemaičiai present and past folk tradition.
