Migracja siły roboczej, a konkurencyjność litewskiej gospodarki

ENMigration processes have an impact on the economic development of countries and their competitiveness. The main objective of the article is to study the causes, scale and quality of migration in Lithuania. The situation indicates that the scale of emigration from Lithuania is the largest in the EU, which can adversely affect economic and social processes of the country in the future, due to the fact that the majority of emigrants arc relatively young people of working age. The emigration of highly qualified people does not foster the competitiveness of Lithuanian economy. Descriptive analysis based on statistical data was used as the research method.
