Tautinių mažumų atstovų dalyvavimas tarpukario Vilniaus mokslo ir kultūros renginiuose

LTStraipsnis skirtas tautinių mažumų atstovų dalyvavimui tarpukario Vilniaus mokslo ir kultūros renginiuose. Jame trumpai nušviečiami renginiai, skirti svarbių mokslo ir švietimo įstaigų ir draugijų (Vilniaus universiteto, Vilniaus mokslo bičiulių draugijos) įkūrimo, istorinių asmenybių (karaliaus Stepono Batoro, kunigaikščio Vytauto) gimimo ir mirties metinėms paminėti, taip pat renginiai, skirti pagerbti nusipelniusius mokslo ir kultūros veikėjus Helenę Romer-Ochenkowską, Marianą Zdziechowskį, Tadą Vrublevskį. Straipsnyje stengiamasi parodyti, kas ir kokiu tikslu juos organizavo, pagal kokį scenarijų jie vyko, kokie tautinių mažumų atstovai dalyvavo ir kokį vaidmenį tokie renginiai atliko tuometiniame Vilniaus kultūriniame gyvenime. Ruošiant straipsnį panaudota archyvinė medžiaga, to meto Vilniaus lenkiška ir lietuviška spauda, lietuvių ir lenkų autorių darbai.

ENThe article is dedicated to the representation of national minorities in the academic and cultural events of Vilnius in the interwar years. A special group of events was devoted to the celebration of anniversaries of prominent personalities and academic and cultural societies, thus yielding a great influence on cultural life in Vilnius. These events were organized by committees whose members were representatives of educational institutions and social organizations. Some of the events were secular (celebrations in Vilnius University, Wróblewski Library, and the Society of Friends of Science; also public processions in the streets of Vilnius), others were religious (church services, cemetery rituals, etc.). Among the participants in the events were the workers of educational and cultural organizations, representatives of national and religious minorities, government and Vilnius district officials, as well as students. The ordinary inhabitants of Vilnius took part in church services, cemetery rituals, public processions. Participation in such events brought representatives of various ethnic communities and social strata together, formed common cultural traditions, facilitated the exploration of the history and culture of Vilnius - the city of many nationalities. The investigation is based on archive materials, original Polish and Lithuanian press releases and coverages in interwar Vilnius, many works by Lithuanian and Polish authors.
