ENThe subject of this article is the problem of genealogy of the Gedhninids Family. Author main interest focuses on connection bcctwen Korybut son of Algirdas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, with Dručki and Holszański Families. It's a discussion with Jan Długosz mention about the King of Poland, Władysław Jagieflos kinship to his fourth wife - Sophia Holszańska. This article is a source study based on information taken from various sources arid leads to conclusions: I) Korybut had two spouses - first he took Anastasia, a Dmitry Dručkis widow, to his wife, who produced him a son Sigismund and two daughters: Anastasia (a wife of Vasily, prince of Tver) and Helena (a wife of Janusz II, prince of Racibórz); the second one was unknown woman - mother of his three younger children: Feodor, Ivan and Maria - a wife of prince Worotyński, 2) due to Korybuts first marriage to Anastasia he was also a step father to her children from her first marriage - one of them was Alexandra (mother of Queen Sophia Holszańska). that is way the King was related to his fourth wife, 3) the eldest son of Korybut - Sigismund, was brought up on the Kings court and was later appointed the governor of the Śrem county! 4) it is possible that he had a son - the priest Maciej Korybutowicz - first eternal vicar, and later on a provost of the Church of St. Peter in Gniezno.
