Žvilgsnis į vieną memuarinę publikaciją: aktoriaus Gedimino Karkos (1922-1991) prisiminimai apie Panevėžio dramos teatro studiją

ENThe analysis of actor's Gediminas Karka publication "Teatro studija" (Theatre studies); which is printed in the journal "Lietuvos archyvai" (Archives of Lithuania, 1990, no. 2), and the manuscript is stored in Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library, is revealing and explaining the origins and the formation phases of the Panevėžys Drama Theatre and the features of director Juozas Miltinis theatre school. J. Miltinis arrived to Panevėžys, set up a theater and theater studies, where prospective actors were trained without interrupting their roles and the creative process. This was basically a new phenomenon in the history of Lithuanian theater. Along with the presentation of theater studies, the actor looks at the major phases of the studio operating that led to the changes both in the studio, and in the theater troupe. The description of the theater studies and presenting it as an individual text, through the visual memory of the actor Gediminas Karka is not meant to be an accurate or non negotiable generalization, but there is an important and valuable document for the introduction and understanding of Panevėžys theater, it's director and teacher Juozas Miltinis and theatrical community.
