ENThe Minor Nobility is a territorial collectivity. As a group, it preserves the characteristics of long duration. Many of them belong to the canon of national culture. Political reality caused that the descendants of the Minor Nobility families live today (except Poland), especially in such countries as: Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova. Characteristic for this group is the phenomenon of changes in national identity, which is associated with the type of represented attitudes (ambiguity, polyvalence, national bivalence).
