ENIn her essay, Halina Turkiewicz discusses autothematic motifs in contemporary Polish poetry in Lithuania. She claims that the literary output of Vilnius authors writing today (including autothematic writings) is distinguished by its greater simplicity and more traditional poetics. These are artists who, according to Turkiewicz, care less about formal experiments and more about communicating to their readers some important truths, thoughts, feelings, including those related to the condition of contemporary poetry and poets.
