ENThe publication of the items of information about ground possession of nobility and gentry in Bieraście (Brest), Kamianiec and Kobryn Regions (Paviet) continues the serie of statistical materials about other regions of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL) in the first half of 16th Century. The information is taken from the Books 12—33 of the Metrica of the GDL and illustrates heuristic opportunities of this unique case of historical sources. This statistical information is important for study of a genealogy, history of the inhabited localities, history of economy and history of the social relations. The authors hope that the system of the publication of the information, wich offered, will allow the interested persons to find the necessary information about Bieraście (Brest), Kamianiec and Kobiyn Regions and nobility of this region in the Books of the Metrica of the GDL quickly.
