ENIn the 228th Book of the Metrica of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (the Lithuanian Metrica) were saved the documents reflecting judicial activity of Maciej Vojcechavič Janavič Kločka mainly as the assessor judge and the vajavoda (governor) of Viciebsk (Vitebsk). In the lesser degree this Book illustrates activity of Maciej Kločka as dziaržauca (administrator) of Merkinė (in the Metrica as Mereč), Abolcy, Vafikavysk and starasta (head) of Žemaitija. The documents are dated mainly 1540. In the Archive of Maciej Kločka were saved also the documents of local establishments which he supervised over. It is a result of multifunctionality of the government officials.
