ENThe analysis introduced in this paper covers range of prosaic prints of the Noblest written on emigration and published in the late fifties of the twentieth century Rodzinna Europa and the latter art entitled Szukanie ojczyzny, in which the poet incorporates digressions on history, largely devoted to Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The aim of this publication is to answer the questions: How Miłosz defines concept of the homeland and which related values are important for the poet in above-mentioned readings?.
