ENOn the basis of the sociologic research and press analysis, Inija Trinkūnienė in her report “Attitude to the Minorities and the Open Society” makes a conclusion that in Lithuania the attitude towards various minorities (confessional, racial, sexual) depends on the age group. The young, in comparison with the elderly people, are more disposed to the minorities. Free media and the open society form the attitude of the young people. However, according to the author of the report, the overall attitude of Lithuanian society to minorities is conservative and cautious.
