LTPirmieji Žemaitijos žmonės, kuriuos šiuo metu reprezentuoja Spigino ir Duonkalnio kapinynų odontologinė medžiaga, priklausė grynam, tik kiek matūrizuotam Vidurio Europos tipui. Baltų genezę pagrįstai galima sieti su šiuo tipu. [p. 45].

ENMesolithic people from Spiginąs were Caucasoids and, to all appearances, belonged to the Central European odontological type. Late Neolithic tribes from Duonkalnis represented its variant somewhat maturized. The Baltic Coastal culture makers from Duonkalnis emerged as a result of intermingling between the pre-Indoeuropean autochtons and the new-comers Indo-Europeans, the carriers of the Corded Ware culture. According to the main odontological characteristics, the Stone Age inhabitants of Žemaitija were quite close to the Fatyanovo people, nevertheless, they had and admixture of south-eastern origin.
