Gdzie jest Północ?: Miłoszowy spór o Istnienie

LTStraipsnyje atliekama romantinio Šiaurės mito ir Šiaurės-Pietų priešpriešos šiuolaikinė reinterpretacija. Svarstoma, kokiu būdu ši tema iškyla Č. Milošo kūryboje, aptariama dialogo tarp skirtingų jo Šiaurės įvaizdžių kilmė, ką dvasinė ir geografinė Šiaurė pasakoja apie žmogaus būtį bei pasaulį. Pabaigoje teigiama, kad Č. Milošo vaizduotėje Šiaurė, kaip simbolinė atsitolinimo ir atsiskyrimo vieta, tampa centrine dalimi prieš visas kitas vietas, sudarančias jo kūrybinės vaizduotės erdvę.

ENIn this paper I study modern reinterpretations of the romantic myth of the North and the North-South opposition. I consider the ways in which they appear in Milosz's works, the nature of the dialogue between his various images of the North and what the mental and geographical North tells us about the human being and the world. Finally, I state that in Milosz's imagination, the North, as a symbolic place of estrangement and disinheritance, forms the central place, against all other circles which organize the space of his artistic imagination.
