ENNo matter what methodological roads are chosen by contemporary translator, how well he or she has mastered the art of translation he or she has to roam from what is strange and one’s own and vice versa. To put it in Ricoeur‘s words this is a pleasure to adopt language of a stranger in one‘s own home. Translator stages and develops dialogue between cultures and erects bridges between different worlds making them culturally closer to each other. What was seen as strange becomes one‘s own through translations.
