Wolter in this folklore archive explained. The transcriptions of the melodies made on a very high scientific level because the actual problems concerning with the various noises at the time of its decipheration was existing. These melodies are the real and objective documents of the features of Lithuanian ethnic musical culture at the beginning of 20th c. The conclusion could be done that not only this, but as well all 6 issues of the published archival records of Lithuanian ethnic music are a very important work not only for the further research in ethnomusicology and ethnology but as well for the practical activity of the folklore ensembles of Lithuanian which are revealing the ancient ethnic vocal and instrumental music.
