Mirties problematika XXI a. lietuvių paauglių literatūroje

LTXXI a. paauglių probleminė proza kinta. Vis dažniau rašytojai imasi temų, kurioms apibūdinti taikomas tabu terminas. Nykstant suvaržymams tiek literatūroje, tiek pačioje visuomenėje, draudžiamų klausimų lieka vis mažiau. Mirties tema yra viena seniausių, problemiškiausių ir mažiausiai mėgstamų paauglių literatūroje. Ji nėra nauja, tačiau jos pateikimo būdai nuolatos kinta. Visuomenei modernėjant, mirties motyvas buvo priskirtas prie tabu temų ir išliko toks iki pat XXI a. Su mirties sąvoka dažniausiai supažindinama vaizduojant gyvūnų netektį, senelių ar tėvų mirtį. Ši sudėtinga tema atskleidžiama pasitelkiant metaforas, nutylėjimus ir dviprasmius siužetus. Pastaraisiais metais dėmesio centre atsiduria per ankstyvas ir nenatūralus paauglių pasitraukimas iš gyvenimo. Problematikos aktualizavimas padeda priartinti nutolusią ir svetimą mirties instanciją. Vis dėlto galima klausti, ar kartais mirties tema nėra pasirenkama siekiant dirbtinio populiarumo ir norint šokiruoti? Straipsnio tikslas - apžvelgti mirties problematiką XXI a. lietuvių paauglių literatūroje. Lietuvoje mirties temos vis dar vengiama. Vyrauja tradicinis požiūris, beveik nėra kūrinių, kuriuose pasakojimo pagrindu būtų pasirenkama mirties tematika.Nesekama užsienio autorių smulkmeniška mirties proceso aprašymo tendencija, trūksta nuodugnesnio psichologinio mirties poveikio vaizdavimo, išlieka poreikis mirtį mistifikuoti. ENA problem novel for young adults is changing in the 21" century. Authors are increasingly tackling themes that were considered taboo before. Prohibited questions are challenged with the blurring of constraints in literature and society. Death is one of the oldest, most problematic and least favoured themes in young adult literature. Though it is not new, ways it is presented are continually evolving. In the modern society, topics of death were regarded as taboo and remained so until the 21" century. The concept of death is usually exposed through deathsof animals, parents or grandparents, and this difficult and complex topic is presented through metaphors, concealment and ambiguous plots. In the recent years, focus has shifted towards early and unnatural teen withdrawal from life. Actualisation of these problems helps bring back the distant and alienated instance of death. However, there is always the question if death is sometimes chosen in pursuit of artificial popularity and desire to shock. The aim of this article Is to overview the topic of death in the 21st-century Lithuanian young adult literature.The topic of death is still avoided in Lithuanian literature – traditional approaches are dominant; there are almost no books that are based on the theme of death; the trends by foreign authors to depict the process of death in detail are not followed; there is a lack of a deeper psychological depiction of the Impact of death; the need for death mystification remains. The books analysed in the present article are as follows: "Home of Damselflies" (2001) by Gintarė Adomaitytė; "Yellow Meadow" (2002) by Vaida Blažytė; "Girl's Novel" (2004) by Bitė Vilimaitė; "Jackau, be kind, don't die!" (2006) by Bronius Bušma; "Unfinished Diary" (2006) and "White Door" (2010) by Vytautas Račickas; "Something is Here" (2009) by Kazys Saja; "The Ocean of Death" (2011) by Nijolė Kliukaitė-Kepenienė.
