Summary / Abstract:

LTStudijoje, pasitelkus bibliografinio kodo sampratą, apžvelgiami K. Donelaičio poemos „Metai“ leidimai. Bibliografinio kodo sąvoka įvardinama leidinio išvaizdą lemiančių elementų visuma, arba spaudinio materialusis kūnas. P. Subačiaus pratarmėje pristatomos tarpdisciplininės socialinės tekstologijos teorijos analitinės prieigos ir jos europinės ištakos, apžvelgiama šios tyrimų krypties situacija Lietuvoje. Dailės istorikės ir tekstologo tandemas studijoje nagrinėja poemos teksto įvaizdinimą, jo medžiaginę raišką, kuri atspindi konkretaus leidimo statusą amžininkų akyse, prasmes, kurias poemai teikė teksto leidėjai, rinkę leidimui popierių, šriftą, užsakę iliustracijas, maketą, nustatę tiražą ir kainą, t. y. numatę leidinio plitimo sąlygas ir adresatą. Studijoje su gausiomis iliustracijomis aptariami poemos leidimai lietuvių ir užsienio kalbomis; daugiausia dėmesio skiriama dviem „Metų“ leidimams – 1940 m. Ambrazevičiaus– Jonyno ir 1956 m. Žirgulio–Jurkūno – kurie sukūrė ir įtvirtino kūrinio bibliografinį kodą. Siekiama pasekti vyraujančio „Metų“ bibliografinio kodo atsiradimą, aptarti, kokiu būdu jis įgijo kanono galią, kaip šis kanonas veikė poemos skaitymą ir tolesnį jos įvaizdinimą, apčiuopti kanono irimo simptomus. Paskutiniame skyriuje pristatoma tradiciją kvestionuojanti grafiko P. Repšio „Metų“ interpretacija. Daroma išvada, kad nepaisant menininkų pastangų pakeisti „Metų“ bibliografinį kodą, kaimiškoje praeityje įsišaknijęs tautinės tapatybės supratimas iki šiol neleido jo sumoderninti, praplečiant naujais, Vakarų kultūros tradiciją suformavusiais parametrais.

ENThe study using the concept of the bibliographic code reviews the editions of K. Donelaitis poem "Metai" ("The Seasons"). The concept of a bibliographic code refers to the totality of elements that determine the appearance of a publication, or the material body of a printout. The preface written by P. Subačius presents the analytical access of the interdisciplinary social textology theory and its European origins, and reviews the situation in this field of research in Lithuania. The art historian and the textologist examine the imaging of the poem text, its material expression, which reflects the status of a particular edition in the eyes of contemporaries, the meanings of the poem provided by the text publishers who selected the paper and the font for the publication, ordered illustrations, layout, set the volume and price, i.e. foresaw the conditions for the distribution of the publication and the addressee. The study with plenty of illustrations deals with editions of the poem in Lithuanian and foreign languages; special attention is paid to the two editions of "Metai" ("The Seasons") by Ambrazevičius-Jonynas (1940) and Žirgulis-Jurkūnas (1956) that created and consolidated the bibliographic code of the work. The aim is to follow the emergence of the prevailing bibliographic code of "Metai" ("The Seasons"), to discuss how it gained the power of canon, how this canon affected the reading of the poem and its further image, and to understand the symptoms of disruption of the canon. The last chapter presents the interpretation of "Metai" ("The Seasons") by the graphic artist P. Repšys which questions the tradition. It is concluded that despite the artists' efforts to change the bibliographic code of "Metai" ("The Seasons"), the understanding of national identity rooted in the rural past has not allowed to modernize it, expanding it with new parameters that have formed the tradition of Western culture.
