Monstrancija iš Sedos Šv. Jono Nepomuko bažnytėlės

LTSedos parapijos Švč. Mergelės Marijos Ėmimo į dangų bažnyčios zakristijoje saugoma Sedos Šv. Jono Nepomuko bažnytėlės monstrancija. Monstrancija - vienas iš nedaugelio likusių Šv. Jono Nepomuko bažnytėlės liturginių daiktų, be to, turinti tai, kas ją daro reikšmingą istoriniu atžvilgiu: įrašas (glorijos dalyje) „Benedyht y Magdalena Adamowiczowie. Generall Adyitantowi Bity. Pol: W: Z: Litt. Ro 1786“ bei šios šeimos herbai. Apie pačią monstranciją bažnytėlės inventorinėse knygose randame: „Monstrancija sidabrinė paauksuota ir gintaru inkrustuota" [SBA. 1831 m. inv.] ir iš naujo paauksuota [SBA. 1825 m. inv.]. Matyt, vizituojantys asmenys neteikė šiai monstrancijai daugiau reikšmės, nei turi savo paskirtį atliekantis liturginis daiktas, nes 1920 m. bažnytėlės inventoriuje skaitome: bažnytėlė „...neturi jokių ypatingų palikimų, nei pelno, nei stebuklingų paveikslų" [Žemaičių vyskupystės <...>inventorius. 1920 m.]. Gal monstrancija ir nebuvo laikoma ypatingu palikimu, ji tiesiog atliko savo funkcinę paskirtį - laikyti, rodyti (lot. monstrantia, monstrare) Ostiją, tačiau ji tikrai yra unikali, meniška, įdomi istoriniu atžvilgiu. ENThe monstrantion from the Saint Jonas Nepomukas Church is one of the several items served for the liturgical purposes. It is unique from the point of art design, because this item was encrusted with amber, what is really a very rare case in the decoration of the items used for the liturgical purposes. The item is interesting from the historical point also: we can see an inscription "Benedykt i Magdalena Adamowiczowie" on one side, and a family emblem on the other side. We can find the name of the artist and the date when the monstrantion was created ("17 C. Stapler 88”) on the down part of the item.
