Baletiškasis Kaunas
LTProfesionalaus baleto Lietuvoje istorija prasidėjo Kaune, kai Valstybės teatre 1925 m. gruodžio 4 d. įvyko Pavelo Petrovo pastatytos Leo Delibes'o „Kopelijos" premjera. Tačiau 1948-aisiais, Valstybiniam operos ir baleto teatrui persikėlus į Vilnių, baleto meno raida antrajame pagal dydį Lietuvos mieste nenutrūko - baleto spektaklius statė ir naujai įkurtas Muzikinės komedijos teatras, dabar žinomas kaip Kauno valstybinis muzikinis teatras. Apie šiame teatre dirbusius choreografus bei šokėjus ir garsiausius jų sukurtus baleto spektaklius rašo muzikologė Lina Stankevičiūtė.
ENThe history of Lithuanian professional ballet began in Kaunas in 1925, when the State Theatre showed the premier of Leo Delibes' ballet "Coppelia" staged by Pavel Petrov. And despite the fact that in 1948 the State Opera and Ballet Theatre was transferred to Vilnius, the development of ballet art in Lithuania's second-in-size city did not stop - ballet performances were staged in a new theatre, the Theatre of Musical Comedy, known today as the State Musical Theatre. The choreographers and dancers, as well as the most famous performances are depicted by the musicologist Lina Stankeviciute.
