LTStanisław Kiewlicz (Stanislavas Kevličius), vertėjas ir pedagogas, gimė 1803.03.03 Švėkšnoje, mirė 1879.03.16 Varšuvoje. Mokėsi Vilniaus universiteto Literatūros fakultete. Joachimo Lelevelio paragintas pradėjo bendradarbiauti mokslo ir literatūros žurnale „Dziennik Wileński“, ten išspausdino iš vokiečių ir prancūzų kalbų į lenkų kalbą išverstas apybraižas apie Romos istoriografiją ir literatūrą. Kevličius bendravo su prof. Joachimu Leleveliu, filaretais, iš jų su Feliksu Kulakovskiu, išsaugojo jo laiškus ir eilėraščius. Kevličio bute 1824 m. vyko filomatų ir filaretų susitikimai, kas liudija, kad jis buvo artimas filomatų ir filaretų draugijoms.

ENStanislaw Kiewlicz (Stanisław Kiewlicz), the translator and schoolteacher, was born on March 3,1803 in Sveksna (Švėkšna), died on March 16,1879 in Warsaw. He studied at the Faculty of Literature at Vilnius University. Encouraged by Joachim Lelewel, Stanisław Kiewlicz started writing for "Dziennik Wileński" – the periodical devoted to issues relating to education and literature – where he published translated from German and French into Polish sketch stories about Roman Historiography and literature. Stanislaw Kiewlicz cooperated with Joachim Lelewel, Filarets and Feliks Kolakowski (Feliks Kółakowski), preserving letters and poems of the latter. In 1824, meetings held by Philomaths and Filarets were taking place in Stanislaw Kiewlicz's flat. This fact may serve as evidence of his close relations with the Society of Philomaths and Filarets.
