Šventojo Kazimiero pasaulis

LTŠio apžvalginio rašinio tema – Šventojo Kazimiero pasaulis, svarbiausi dalykai, kurie tiesiogiai ar netiesiogiai galėjo būti juntami ir reflektuojami Kazimiero aplinkoje. Šv. Kazimieras gyveno XV a. viduryje (1458 10 03 – 1484 03 04). Pirmoji to amžiau pusė buvo paženklinta daugybe įtampų Bažnyčioje – buvo ginčijamasi dėl pasauliečių vietos ir vaidmens, dėl bažnyčios turtų, dėl santykių su Rytų Bažnyčia ir dėl požiūrio į tos Bažnyčios tikinčiuosius. Plito Bažnyčios atnaujinimo idėja. Bet tas laikotarpis Bažnyčiai davė ir daug iškilių šventųjų. Šv. Kazimiero laikai Lenkijoje vadinami palaimingu šventųjų laiku. ENThe topic of this review article is the world of St. Casimir, i.e. the most significant matters which directly or indirectly could be felt and discussed in the environment of Casimir. St. Casimir lived in the middle of the 15th c. (3 March 1458 - 4 March 1484). The first half of that century was marked by numerous tensions in the church: there were disputes about the place and role of laymen, about the property of the church, about relations with the Eastern Church and about the attitudes of the faithful of that church. The idea of the renewal of the Church was being spread. However, that period also gave the Church many outstanding saints. In Poland the period of St. Casimir is called the Blessed Period of Saints.
