LTStraipsnyje analizuojami karo metais parašyti Juozo Girniaus filosofiniai rašiniai. Tyrime siekiama nustatyti jaunojo Girniaus filosofijos turinį ir literatūrinį stilių. Kai kuriais atžvilgiais Girnius savo filosofinį balsą atrado iš pat pradžių ir jį išlaikė iki gyvenimo pabaigos: jo svarstymų centre stovėjo žmogaus baigtinybė. Minėtoji turinio ir stiliaus analizė reikalinga, norint kritiškai skaityti ir vertinti keletą jo pasirašytų, nacionalsocialistinę ideologiją dėstančių rašinių, paskelbtų 1941 m., Vokiečių okupacijos pradžioje. Paskelbti filosofiniai tekstai neremia tezės, kad Girnių buvo sužavėjusi visa nacių programa. Drauge negalima atmesti galimybės, kad praūžus frontui, bent trumpą laiką keli nacių programos aspektai jį šiek tiek masino. Išgyvenus komunistinio teroro metus, naujoji Europa galėjo būti patraukli. Juolab jei joje nebūtų buržuazinio siaurumo, o vyrautų idealizmo, pasiaukojimo dvasia. Tyrimo išvadose teigiama, kad žmogaus geros valios nedera matuoti atsižvelgiant vien tik į dienos įvykių formuojamus nukrypimus. Svarbesnė pastovi žmogaus nuostata. Pastovi Girniaus nuostata, ir prieškarinė, ir pokarinė, fundamentaliai nedera su nacionalsocializmu. Taip pat nėra pagrindo manyti jį pritarus nacių priemonėms. Bet negalima atmesti galimybės, kad pirmomis okupacijos savaitėmis jis daugiau dėmesio kreipė į idealius nacių skelbiamus siekius, vokiečių karių drausmę ir pasiaukojimą, neatidžiam skaitytojui sudarydamas didesnio pritarimo įspūdį, negu iš tikrųjų buvo.
ENThe article analyses the philosophical writings of Juozas Girnius written during the war period. The research aims to determine the content and the literature style of the young J. Girnius. In some ways, J.Girnius found his philosophical voice from the start and kept it until the end of his life: human finality stood in the centre of his reflections. The mentioned content and style analysis is necessary for critical reading and evaluation of several of his signed essays that teach the national socialist ideology, published in 1941 at the beginning of the German occupation. The published philosophical texts do not support the thesis that J. Girnius was fascinated by the entire Nazi program. However, we cannot reject the possibility that after the passing of the front, at least for a short while some aspects of the Nazi program encouraged him. Surviving the years of the communist terror a new Europe could have been appealing. Especially if there were no narrowness of bourgeois and the spirit of idealism and sacrifice was prevailing. The conclusions of the research state that a good will of a man should not be measured depending only on the deviations formed on the events of a day. More important is the constant human attitude. The constant attitude of J.Girnius is pre-war, and post-war and is fundamentally inconsistent with national socialism. What is more, there is no reason to think that he supported the measures of the Nazi. However, we cannot reject the possibility that during the first weeks of occupation he paid more attention to the ideal aspirations declared by the Nazi, to the discipline and self-sacrifice of the German soldiers creating an impression of approval to an inattentive reader more then there actually was one.
