Tyrinėjimai Gaono g. 8

LT2005 m. atlikti tyrinėjimai ir žvalgymai Vilniuje, Gaono g. 8. Buvo likviduojama pastato avarinė būklė (tvirtinami pamatai ir kitos pаstatą laikančios konstrukcijos), vidiniame pastato kieme statomas požeminis garažas, atliekami kiti žemės kasimo darbai [p. 337].

ENArchaeological investigations of the plot located at the Gaono Str. 8 in Vilnius performed in 2002 and 2003 were continued in 2005 as well. This time investigations were carried out in the inner yard and cellars of the reconstructed 16th - 19th century building. The earliest finds dated to the 15th century. A lot of finds dating to the late 16th - the first half of the 17th century was discovered as well. Potshards and leather footwear fragments were especially numerous. Most of the finds were collected from the garbage pits, which used to be reinforced with wooden and mixed wooden-stone constructions. A wooden water pipe branch connection dating to the 17th century, a tile fragments and small fragments of Gothic brickwork were found as well.
