Lietuvos archeologijos bibliografija: 1999-2010

LTŠi bibliografija yra tąsa A. Tautavičiaus sudarytos knygos „Lietuvos archeologijos bibliografija 1782–1998“. Bibliografija apima nedidelį laiko tarpsnį ir temų įvairovė nėra didelė. Autorius su viltimi žiūri į šios bibliografinės rodyklės pritaikymą internetinėje ar skaitmeninėje erdvėje. Ši bibliografija nuo pirmosios skiriasi kiek laisvesne bibliografinių pozicijų atranka. Tai paaiškinama tuo, kad norėta atspindėti visą archeologų interesų ratą. Tai ne tik archeologinių tyrimų ir kasinėjimų, mokslinių pasiekimų apžvalga, bet ir medžiaga atspindinti parodas, muziejinę ir organizacinę veiklą, archeologų personalijų medžiaga. Tačiau ir čia laikytasi tam tikrų atrankos kriterijų. Pastarąjį dešimtmetį labai padaugėjo užsienio kalbomis Lietuvoje spausdintų, tačiau nei su lietuvių, nei su baltų archeologija nesusijusių straipsnių, tokių subibliografuoti pilnai nesistengta. Keliolika subjektyvių žurnalistinių pozicijų į rodyklę nedėta sąmoningai. Nesistengta labai kruopščiai bibliografuoti numizmatinių, antropologijos, gyvosios archeologijos ir žurnalistinių straipsnių pozicijų. Tai paaiškinama tuo, kad numizmatai pradėjo leisti savo bibliografiją, o gyvosios archeologijos objektas tampa vis labiau nutolęs nuo profesionaliosios archeologijos. Daug problemų kilo su internetinių laikraščių, enciklopedijų, kompaktinių vaizdo ir garso plokštelių bibliografavimu. Autorius mano, kad tai galima palikti istorijos įvertinimui ir ateities kartoms.

ENThis bibliography is a continuation of Lietuvos archeologijos bibliografija 1782–1998 (“A Bibliography of Lithuanian Archaeology 1782-1998”), a book compiled by Adolfas Tautavičius. The bibliography covers a limited period of time, and does not include a large variety of topics. The author is hopeful that these bibliographical indexes can be adapted for internet or digital use. This bibliography differs from the first for its slightly freer selection of bibliographic positions. This is explained by a desire to reflect the entire circle of archaeologist interests. It is not just an overview of archaeological research and excavation and scientific achievements; it is also material which reflects exhibitions, the activities of museums and organizations, and personalia of archaeologists. However, certain selection criteria are held to here as well. Over the past decade, there has been a dramatic increase in foreign language articles printed in Lithuania which, however, are not related to either Lithuanian or Baltic archaeology; attempts were not made to fully index these articles. A dozen or so subjective journalistic positions were consciously not included in the index. It was not attempted to compile a thorough bibliography of numismatic, anthropology, living archaeology and journalistic articles. This is explained by the fact that numismatists began to publish their own bibliography, and the object of living archaeology is becoming increasingly more distant from professional archaeology. Many problems have come up with the indexing of online newspapers, encyclopaedias, and audio and video compact discs. The author believes that this can be left to historical evaluation and future generations.
