LTStraipsnio tikslas - pristatyti nuotolinių studijų organizavimo modelį, studijų organizavimo etapus, nustatyti metodinės medžiagos struktūrą ir jos rengimo fazes, apibūdinti siekiamą konkrečią informaciją, jos šaltinius. Siūloma įgyti kompleksinių nuotolinių studijų rengimo kompetenciją, kad būtų galima pereiti prie paskutinės mokymo metodinės medžiagos ruošimo fazės - mokymosi situacijų sudarymo. PAGRINDINIAI ŽODŽIAI: nuotolinės studijos, aspektai, modeliavimas, informacijos plėtra, įgūdžiai, mokymosi situacija.

ENDistant studies (DS) mean the technology of gaining the knowledge (information), which includes choosing the means of intercom munication and the frankness to space, time and rapidity. DS characteristic the distant rendering of teaching material. DS embrace all the teaching and studying forms, when it is being studied outside the studying institution; and the communication between the teacher and the students takes part using the means of intercommunication. The bigger professional competence of the student is, the more active his autonomy in the teacher's respect becomes, the more actual DS is. Teacher and re-sender of the information become the organizators of the independent studies process, while helping their student to form a clear studies' strategy, based on the creative initiative. Best of all this principle is realized by the undisguised and versatile distant studies. They give any student a wide freedom to choose the purpose of his studies, the content, the place, the method, the rhythm. The organiza tion of the distant studies allows to use a lot of means of sending the information and the resources of it. In this way the manifold medium becomes the mean of independent studies; and the effective usage of them is realized by the DS. Preparing the teaching material it is neces sary to avoid using the technical means and complicated technologies, which are not needed, also not to forget, that every group of the in formation resources has its own advantages and disadvantages. The whole gaining of the knowledge, abilities, skills has to be systematically orientated into independent studies.
