LTStraipsnyje atskleidžiami Lietuvos draudimo rinkoje vykstantys pokyčiai ir pagrindinės raidos tendencijos, draudimo verslo vaidmuo šalies ekonomikoje, įvertinama gyvybės draudimo įmonių ir pensijų fondų valdymo įmonių veikla vykdant pensijų sistemos reformą Lietuvoje. Palyginama Lietuvos draudimo rinkos plėtra europiniame kontekste. Pateikiamos draudimo rinkos tolesnio vystymosi perspektyvos. Naudoti metodai: mokslinės literatūros ir įstatyminės bazės apibendrinimas, statistinių duomenų analizė ir sintezė, abstrahavimas, palyginimas.
ENThe article reveals the ongoing changes and main development trends of the Lithuanian insurance market as well as the role of the insurance business in the country's economy. The evaluation of the activities of life insurance undertakings and pension fund management companies that are engaged in implementing the reform of the pension system in Lithuania is presented in the article. Furthermore, the expansion of Lithuania's insurance market is examined in the European context and further development prospects of the insurance market are indicated. Methods of investigation: generalization of scientific literature and legislative basis, and analysis, summary and comparison of statistical data.
