ENPaper analyzes problem of structural unemployment in Lithuania and ways of it's solution. Here are analyzed the theoretical and practical aspects of this issue. The paper gives features of structural unemployment. Furthermore, here is given detailed analysis of Lithuanian labour force supply and demand dynamics. The analysis shows that there is discrepancy between labour force supply and demand in Lithuania's counties and also between different professions, which are registered. Given data shows that labour force supply and demand proportion isn't balanced enough in country's economy. The paper substantiates urgency of regional labour force mobility politics in Lithuania. The encouragement of labour force mobility can be found as an alternative to structural unemployment decrease and determined as a decline of regional social and economic discrepancies.
