Klaipėdos senamiesčio viešųjų erdvių istorinės raidos apžvalga: urbanistinis ir kraštovaizdžio aspektas
ENKlaipeda – in the Middle Ages was founded and 760 years of history dating town, which stands urban structure, historical development from other Lithuanian cities. Urban public spaces functional diversity, form, location in the urban structure and visual terms, influenced times specifics, that resulted in changing urban structure, rate of development, changing architectural and aesthetic principles. Early types of public spaces in Klaipeda formed until the XVIth century – churches with churchyards, cemeteries and marketplaces. Subsequently, the growth of the city these spaces typology, purpose, location, and visual communication has taken each period with different characteristics and significances. This article examines the evolution of aspects of each era-specific trends.
