LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjami Klaipėdos apskrities mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų fizinio išsivystymo, sergamumo rodikliai, lyginant juos tarp mieste ir kaime gyvenančių vaikų. Moksleivių sveikata nuolat blogėja, mažėja pirmos sveikatos grupės moksleivių. Blogesnė yra miesto vaikų sveikata. Miesto vaikai aukštesni ir sunkesni už kaimo vaikus, tačiau kaimo vaikų fizinio išsivystymo ir fizinio pajėgumo rodikliai yra geresni. Gyvenamosios vietos skirtumai, sveikos gyvensenos įgūdžių formavimas iš dalies daro įtaką moksleivių sveikatos būklei. ENThe health of our society influences on the children's health. Good health is the ground of the life quality. The school age is quite long and important period of the life. The school is one of the most important education institutions, where it is possible to develop and fortify children's health. Fortifying the children's health at school is one of the most important and the most effective way to improve health of children and the whole society. There is much information which can prove that children's health is getting worse. One of the reasons increasing these tendencies is declining of physical activity. It has been proved that human's behaviour influences on his/her health. So teachers has a problem to find the optimal ways how to increase the children's physical activity, to organize properly physical training, to organize more effectively the lessons of physical training and further activity of health improvement at schools in the proper place. The main goal of the research - to research and compare physical development, physical fitness and the main health indexes of junior school age children who live in village and town. During the research it came out that the number of the students of the first health group has been decreasing with each succeeding year in Klaipeda district and in the district of Klaipeda local administration. The number of the students of the first health group in village is bigger than the number in town.Children's morbidity is higher than average in the republic according to the registration in the institutions that render the ambulatory assistance in Klaipeda local administration and Klaipeda city. Each child got ill average 3,5 times during a year in Klaipeda city, 3 times in Klaipeda local administration, 2,7 times in Lithuania. The minimal number of cases was registered in Skuodas district. Many childrens have vertebral deformations and visual discorders. Vertebra deformations and visual disorders more often were registered students of the higher forms among the. Unsafely training environment (insufficient lighting, furniture unfitted for height), school load and insufficient physical activity influences on the number of these disorders. The results of the research shows that the main indexes of the students' health has been decreasing with each succeeding year, the number of the students of the first health group has been decreasing too. The students' health in town is worse. The students from town are heavier and taller than their contemporaries in village, but the students' indexes of physical development and physical fitness in village are better than students' in town. The differences of place of residence influence on students' health condition, physical activity and physical fitness. [From the publication]
