Karaliaus sekretoriaus medicinos daktaro Motiejaus Vorbeko-Lettowo (1593-1663) testamentas — šaltinis įžymiojo vilniečio biografijai

LTPublikuojamas medicinos daktaro, karaliaus gydytojo, iždo dvariškio ir Vilniaus miesto tarėjo, karaliaus sekretoriaus liuterono Motiejaus Vorbeko-Lettowo (1593-1663 m.) testamentas. Testamentas buvo surašytas 1663 m. vasario 20 d., o 1663 m. birželio 27 d. buvo įrašytas į Lietuvos Vyriausiojo Tribunolo aktų knygą (LVIA, f. SA, Nr. 2, l. 927-932v). Originalas nėra žinomas, išliko tik jo nuorašas minėtoje aktų knygoje. Didesnio pagrindo abejoti dokumento autentiškumu nėra, tačiau jis originalo šimtu procentų neatitinka. Apie tai byloja kai kurios nerišlios vietos, matyt, buvo praleisti ar iškraipyti paskiri žodžiai ir skiemenys, ypač lotyniški, vietomis netinkamai sutvarkyta skyryba. Nėra aišku, kas surašė originalą, pats testatorius ar kitas asmuo. Tikėtinas antras variantas, tačiau testatoriaus teksto kontrolę patvirtina jo parašas ir antspaudas. Dokumentas buvo surašytas lenkų kalba, publikuojamas jo tekstas kartu su vertimu į lietuvių kalbą. Šaltinotyriniu atžvilgiu M. Vorbeko-Lettowo atvejis yra pakankamai išskirtinis, kadangi išliko ir jau publikuotas jo dienoraštis, paskelbtos kelių laiškų ištraukos ir šis testamentas. Surinkus daugiau kitokios dokumentacijos, bus galima ir visapusiška šio vilniečio biografijos analizė, kuri geriausiai atsiskleidžia per jo karjeros – nuo miestiečio iki bajoro – kontekste. ENThe will of the Doctor of Medicine, the royal doctor, the treasurer of the mansion and the deputy of Vilnius, the king's secretary Lutheran Matheus Vorbek-Lettow (1593-1663) was published. The will was written in 1663 February 20, and in 1663 June 27 was included in the book of the Supreme Tribunal of Lithuania (LVIA, f. SA, No. 2, No. 927-932v). The original is not known, the only remaining copy is in the previously mentioned book. There is no big reason to doubt the authenticity of the document, but it does not match the original one hundred percent. The evidences of it are some incoherent parts, words and syllables were probably missed or distorted, especially the ones in Latin, the punctuation is inadequately arranged in some places. It is not clear who wrote the original - the same person or someone else. The second option is more likely; however, the control of the text is confirmed by his signature and stamp. The document was written in Polish, its text is published together with translation into Lithuanian. In an aspect of analysis of sources, the case of M. Vorbek-Lettow is quite exclusive, since his already published diary has remained, some excerpts of his letters and this will have been publicized. By gathering more different documentation, a comprehensive analysis of the biography of this person from Vilnius will be possible, which will be revealed in the context of his career the best - from a citizen to a nobleman. The information provided by the testament is organically merged with other surviving sources about him, although it does not lead to bigger "revolutions".
