Podporucznik Jan Bołbott - bohaterski dowódca obrony fortyfikacji w Tynnem we wrześniu 1939 roku

LTJanas Bolbotas (Jan Bołbott), pasižymėjo Lenkijos–Sovietų Sąjungos kare. Jis 1939 m. rugsėjo 17 d. vadovavo gynybos bunkeriui Tyne kaime ir ir po kelių dienų apsuptyje ten pat žuvo. Tam skirtas straipsnio IV skyrius. Tyne (lenk. Tynne) įėjo į tarpukario Lenkijos valstybės teritoriją, dabar kaimas yra dabartinės Ukrainos teritorijoje (ukr. Тинне). Tiesiogiai geografiškai su Lietuvos XX a. istorija ši vietovė nesusijusi, tačiau pirmame straipsnio skyriuje atskleidžiama J. Bolboto biografija, kuri tiesiogiai siejasi su Vilniaus miesto praeitimi. Gimęs Vilniuje 1911 m. jis čia augo, 1915 kartu su tėvais pasitraukdamas į Rusijos gilumą, o 1919 m. vėl sugrįžo. Čia 1930 m. baigė lenkišką humanitarinio profilio Karaliaus Žygimanto Augusto gimnaziją. Tais pačiais metais pradėjo teisės studijas Stepono Batoro universitete Vilniuje. 1933 m. įsidarbino 5-ojoje mokesčių valdyboje Vilniuje, ten dirbo iki 1934 m. rugsėjo 19 d., kol buvo pašauktas atlikti karinę tarnybą, ją atliko Vilniuje. 1935 m. rugsėjo 25 d. atsiėmė savo dokumentus iš Stepono Batoro universiteto jo nebaigęs ir išvyko studijuoti teisę į Liublino Katalikų universitetą. Vaikystės ir jaunystės metų biografijos faktai yra išdėstomi I skyriuje, daug remiamasi Lietuvos centrinio valstybės archyvo medžiaga. III skyriuje išdėstomi jo privalomosios karinės tarnybos faktai. I ir III skyriai, atskleidžiantys J. Bolboto biografijos faktus Vilniuje, yra vertingiausi Lituanistikos DB požiūriu. Jo gyvenimo etapui Liubline yra skirtas II skyrius, o V skyriuje išdėstomi J. Bolboto kaip lenkų didvyrio atminimo įamžinimo faktai.

ENJan Bołbott left his mark in the Poland-Soviet Union war. He oversaw the defence bunker in Tynne on the 17th of September in 1939 and died there after a couple of days due to being surrounded by the enemies. Chapter IV is for that. Tynne was a part of the territory of the interwar Polish state, now the village is situated in the territory of the present-day Ukrainian territory (Ukrainian: Тинне) This area is not directly geographically connected to 20th century Lithuania, but the first chapter reveals the biography of J. Bolbot, which directly relates to the past of Vilnius. He was born in Vilnius in 1911 and raised there. In 1915 he moved further into Russia with his parents but came back in 1919. Here in 1930he graduated from a Polish humanitarian profile King Žygimantas Augustas gymnasium. During the same year he began his law studies at the Vilnius University of Stephen Bator. He started working at the 5th Tax Board in Vilnius in 1933, where he continued working until 1934. On September 19th, when he was called for military service, he completed it in Vilnius. He took back his documents from the University of Stephen Bator on the 25th of September 1935 before his graduation and started studying law at the Catholic University of Lublin. Biography facts about his childhood and youth are presented in Chapter I, a lot of which is based on the material of the Central State Archives of Lithuania. Chapter III show the facts of his compulsory military service. Chapters I and III, which reveal the facts of J. Bolbot's biography in Vilnius, are the most valuable in the point of view of the Lithuanian database. Chapter II is dedicated to his life in Lublin, and Chapter V shows the facts about Bolbot in a way that he is remembered as Poland's hero.
