Young Peopl's Interest in Ecological Problems and their Comprehension-Knowledge in Engineering

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamas Lietuvos jaunuolių domėjimasis ekologinėmis problemomis. Atliktas diagnostinių instrumentų, leidžiančių patikrinti ir parinkti domėjimosi ekologinėmis problemomis raišką techninio išprusimo aspektu, tyrimas. Nustatyta techninio išprusimo žinių lygio ir domėjimosi ekologinėmis problemomis laipsnio tarpusavio sąsaja. Tyrimo rezultatai leidžia apibūdinti domėjimosi ekologinėmis problemomis ir techninio išprusimo sąsajas lyties, amžiaus tarpsnių, gyvenamosios vietos atžvilgiu. Suformuluotos išvados leistų švietimo sistemos koordinatoriams koreguoti formalų ir neformalų jaunuolių ugdymą, orientuojant juos į šiuolaikinių gamtos išsaugojimo problemų stebėjimą ir sprendimų ieškojimą. ENThe article analyses the Lithuanian youth’s interest in ecological problems. Measurement instruments that enable us to check expression of interest in ecological problems in the aspect of comprehension knowledge in engineering have been chosen and tested. The relationship between the level of comprehension-knowledge in engineering and the degree of interest in ecological problems has been revealed. The research results enable us to define the expression of relationship between the interest in ecological problems and comprehension-knowledge in engineering, considering gender, age, and place of residence. The stated conclusions would enable coordinators of education system to adjust formal and informal youth education and direct them towards observation of up-to-date environmental problems as well as looking for solutions.
