ENPaper analyses urban agglomerations, their structure and formation causes. Agglomerations - as result of urban territories growth and coalescence, presents city as a cumulative system, covering not only territories of towns and villages, but open spaces between them as well. Nowadays agglomerations changes a lot of factors in the planned cities and towns - strong transport connections not only agglomerates big regions, but divides city as itself and "deletes" city edges. Most of researchers accept agglomeration as the most advanced settlement system, but on the other hand urban agglomerations strongly changes not only structure of the cities, transport system, but reallocates demographics! indexes in the territories, changes social needs.
