LTStraipsnyje analizuojamos tarpukario Lietuvoje buvusios Pasų aferos bylos aplinkybės, nuo pat šios aferos pradžios iki viešo bylos svarstymo teisme. Atskleidžiami nusikalstomos veiklos dalyviai: tiek dokumentų klastotojai, tiek jų klientai. Pateikiama nusikalstomo pasaulio rekonstrukcija: struktūra, sistema, konkurentai. ENThe article analyses circumstances of the case of the passport fraud in inter-war Lithuania, from the very beginning of this fraud to the open hearing of the case in court. Participants in the criminal activity are revealed: both those who falsified the documents and their customers. Reconstruction of the criminal world is presented: the structure, the system and competitors. The article basis itself on the reminiscences of the former Chief of the Counter-espionage Division of the Armed Forces Staff who later worked as a diplomat Jonas Budrys, documents stored in the Lithuanian Central State Archive, as well as observations of journalists in the daily Lietuvos žinios.
