Uždarbio pakeitimo santykio tyrimas
LTNagrinėjamas pirmąjį 1999 m. pusmetį į senatvės ar invalidumo pensiją išėjusių asmenų gaunamos pensijos dydžio ir paskutiniais priešpensiniais metais gauto darbo užmokesčio santykis. Tyrimas atliktas remiantis Valstybinio socialinio draudimo fondo duomenimis. Taip pat nagrinėjamas užimtumas priešpensiniu laikotarpiu ir jo priklausomybė nuo lyties. Rezultatai lyginami su 1996 m. atlikto analogiško tyrimo duomenimis.
ENEffectiveness of the pension system can be investigated employing some key indicators. One of them is the earnings replacement rate. Earnings replacement rate is the ratio of the old age or disability pension size to the earnings size attained over the former period prior to pension. Earnings replacement rate was calculated as the ratio of recipient's pension, granted from January 1, 1999 to June 30, 1999 and compared with the results of a similar survey carried out with the pensions granted from January 1,1996 to June 30,1996. The survey showed that over the period of 1996 - 1999 the unemployment rate in the age group of persons before pension shot up from 1% to 22%. Next, The average earnings replacement rate varies within the range of 80 - 90%. In addition, earnings replacement rate of old age and disability pension sizes do not markedly differ from one another; the same refers to earnings replacement rate of women and men. Last, it should be mentioned that about 35% of pensioners have a 100% and even more earnings replacement rate, while 6% of pensioners have 40% and lesser earnings replacement rate.
