ENThe survey of production managers motivational orientations is methodically complicated because of its twofold position: conciliation of inner motivation with the ability to motivate others. The survey implied that under current situation much attention is paid to motivating people by money. However, a great majority of managers think that they are aware of their employees' needs. Paying out bonuses is considered to be the greatest motivation for their performance. On the other hand, the greatest satisfaction for mangers is the importance of their activity toinards society, organization and the lowest - the relationship among the employees and the salary they get for their performance. Despite the fact that many managers are not satisfied with the amount of money they get, it does not influence their efforts in achieving better rezults. About one fifth (25%) of managers who have participated in the survey, are willing to change their job, because input into the work does not correspond to the amount of money they are paid. The survey indicated that in order to form a team of managers working effectively more subtle technologies of motivation are needed, which should be more orientated to the perspective.
