Summary / Abstract:

Straipsnyje analizuojama programavimo mokymo(si) problematika, mokymui naudojamos programavimo kalbos bei priemonės. Remiantis programavimo kalbų populiarumo tyrimo rezultatais bei mokslinės literatūros analize, apibrėžiami programavimo mokymosi aplinkos efektyvumo kriterijai bei, atsižvelgiant į juos, analizuojamos programavimo mokymosi aplinkos.

ENProgramming learning is a sufficiently long and complicated process. Like in any other field of learning, success is largely determined by the choice of appropriate learning tools. This paper analyzes the problems of programming training, programming languages and tools used for teaching programming. According to the programming language popularity results and analysis of scientific literature, the criteria of effectiveness of programming learning environments are defined and popular in Lithuania programming learning environments are analyzed. Learner's learning effectiveness depends very much on the desire to learn, the ability to do it properly and in a proper learning environment. Learning programming is especially important to maintain positive student motivation. The programming can also produce changes in student side - there are better problem-solving skills as well as changes in student learning styles. Based on data of popular programming languages ranking sites Tiobe.com and LangPop.com, the most popular programming languages are Java, C, C++, С #. The analyzed programming learning environments are not suitable for beginners to learn programming, because they are not given a proper opportunity (in learner's native language) to provide learning materials and receive a fast, functional and formative feedback. Environments are limited in adaptation and personalization options. There are no opportunities for communication and cooperation.
