ENThis article discusses the understanding of environment in poetry collection "Vienintelė žemė" by Justinas Marcinkevičius and the chapter of book "Dienų raštai" by Jonas Mekas. The environment is analyzed from the medial point of view (focusing on the ideas of Marshall McLuhan). Environment is understood as a "hot" media. Another aim is to analyze the environment as an "archimedia".This article also gives some data about the creations by Marcinkevičius and Mekas in the context of environmental criticism. Texts by Marcinkevičius and Mekas are eco texts. The article concludes that environment in texts by Marcinkevičiusand Mekas is a "hot" media, the human extension, which reminds the artificial intelligence of nowadays. "Archi-media" is an old variant of artificial intelligence. This variant had not been created - it existed naturally.
