Lietuvos laisvės kovų paminklai

LTStraipsnyje skelbiami kruopščiai surinkti (panaudoti esami publikuoti ir žodiniai šaltiniai) ir susisteminti duomenys apie memorialines sudėtingą pokario laikotarpį ir sovietinį genocidą menančias Šilalės krašto vietas. Jos, be kita ko, liudija rezistencinio sąjūdžio priežastis. Partizaninių kovų Šilalės krašte eigą, čia veikusias organizacines struktūras pakankamai plačiai ir kvalifikuotai yra aprašęs istorikas Kazys Misius. Straipsnyje išryškinti tik tie epizodai, kurie tiesiogiai susiję su aprašomomis vietovėmis, memorialiniais paminklais, stengtasi prisiminti ir rezistencijos bei genocido įamžinimo iniciatorius. Surinkta medžiaga reikšminga istorinės atminties tyrimams.

ENThe paper publishes thoroughly collected (available published and oral sources) and systematised data about the memorial places of Šilalė region, testifying a complicated post-war period and Soviet genocide. They also testify the causes of the resistance movement. Historian Kazys Misius has rather widely and in a qualified manner described the course of partisan fights and organisational structures functioning in Šilalė region. The paper highlights only those episodes that are directly related to the described localities, memorial monuments, and attempts to recollect the initiators of commemorating resistance and genocide. The collected material is significant for the research of historical memory.
