Be to, straipsnyje aptariama profesijų grupės ir pogrupiai pagal profesijų klasifikatorių, kuris sudarytas pagal atitinkamą klasifikatorių, taikomą Europos sąjungos šalyse.

ENAt present where competition predominates in the market of employment, it is essential to choose your profession reasonably. A personal character and skills have to correspond with the requirements of occupational performance. Otherwise, work will not be effective, and in the end, the person performing that way will be crossed out of the process of reproduction. Motives, concerning human employment activities, are divided into activity inducement, motives of choosing a certain occupation, and motives of choosing the place of work. An individual comes into work performance on the basis of social inducement meeting financial needs for him/her and family members, seeding for self-realization and self-expression. Certain professions give an implication to the realization of work performance motives. An individual accepts a certain profession interest that depends on individual needs and abilities. Because of inadequate and superficial occupational image and its requirements to perceive it, there is a possibility between inclinations and abilities on one hand and psychological work matter on the other. A choice of a certain occupation depends on a personality type counting realistic, intellectual, social, conventional, initiative, and artistic. Personality type affects occupational behavior mini-models showing that different life stages raise different occupational tasks for individuals. Gradually, occupational "I" realization motive, that begins with juveniles and continues for the rest of the life of individuals, develops.Motives of choosing a working place give details for the realization of human employment activities from the working place point of view. The value of a working place is related to the possibility of making a career and a possibility of creativity and initiative realization. Occupational performance motives settle employee distribution in the market of employment. Employment market is structured by occupation classifications that assist in understanding various relations of work and occupations. Professions are structured according to the occupation classification that is prepared on the basis of International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-88). Occupation classification enables to overview and to analyze the market of employment and at the same time to compare international data. Besides, it assists in more adequate evaluation of occupational information, international communication decisions, work power migration, corresponding scientific research problems.
