ENThis report has been written on the basis of people's reminiscences about nutrition peculiarities at the beginning of the 20th century collected in July, 1990. The report depicts peasants’ mode of life and cooking traditions. It is divided into chapters entitled "Bread", "Meat", "Vegetables","Everyday Meals", and "Holiday Meals". Each chapter contains the recipes of meals, description of cooking- traditions and superstitions. In the closing chapter meals of the greatest religious festivals and family celebrations have been presented.
